Greetings! I work in the Information Technology field and my birth name is Kevin, but I generally go by JakeVegas in the gaming communities, and I consider myself to be a real American gamer, so much in fact, that my channel is called "Real American Gamer". Playing video games has been my main hobby for 30+ years now. From the Atari 2600 and Pac-Man, to Nintendo and Super Mario Bros, to Sega Genesis and Altered Beast, to PC gaming and the original Doom, to Playstation and Metal Gear Solid, to X-Box and Halo, and currently back to PC gaming and the plethora of great modern titles available-- I'm no stranger to gaming and I was lucky enough to see and play practically every home console and gaming device at the time they were introduced to the world.

I'm strictly a PC gamer now, and although I enjoy many different game genres, I prefer first and third person shooters-- I've been an avid fan of the Battlefield series since Battlefield 2, but I play many other games as well.

Like many other You Tube gamers out there, I'm seeking to turn my favorite hobby into a possible 2nd income. the videos I intend on posting will be entertaining and of High quality, and I believe that they will be appealing to all ages of gamers, especially veteran gamers who have been around for some years will find it easy to relate to many of the references I makes.
