I'm gonna have to go with Audacity, but anything Adobe does (sound wise that is xD) is pretty epic and professional-looking/sounding! So my best best would be go with Audacity for recording, and anything editing wise, you could use Audacity, or go with Adobe. Hope this helps :D

I personally use OBS, and to me, it doesn't really drop FPS too bad, unless I'm livestreaming then it can get reaaaaaaaaaaaally bad with the dropped frames, and not knowing how to fix that, yeah it becomes an issue. I would HIGHLY recommend Bandicam, cuz I used it when I had a different computer...
