A Tribute to Mortal Online

On June 9, 2010, when Mortal Online was released, there was no other game out there quite like it. Created by a small independent game development company called Star Vault, it has dared and succeeded in doing what many titles of the genre at the time have never attempted to do.

It has taken what was considered the best aspects of a much older game, Ultima Online, and combined it with features like first-person only view, twitch-based combat, local banking, chat and mail, open world PVP, full looting and more.

Brutal, harsh and unforgiving, the game can prove to be overwhelming for those who are not prepared for the kind of gameplay mechanics that attract a certain breed of gamer looking for a truly hardcore MMORPG experience that Mortal Online is known for.

This video is a tribute to the game that has been an inspiration for my YouTube channel and one that I have greatly enjoyed playing, and as we celebrate the end of one year and the beginning of another I'd like to take this opportunity to thank every one of you who have helped me in the game or supported my channel in one way or another. I wish everyone a Happy New Year, and hope to see you all in 2015!
