Welcome to this short review of 'For Honour' , the hack and slash fighting game developed and published by Ubisoft.

The game allows players to fight as three different factions : Knights, Vikings, and Samurai within a medieval setting and from a third person perspective. Each faction allows players to choose between four classes which are :
- Vanguards - well balanced class with good attack / defence
- Assassin's - fast fighters, good at duelling but weaker in defence
- Heavies - Most resilient to damage but slower at attacking
- Hybrids - Combination of the classes, and can use uncommon skills to take down enemies.

For Honor received generally favourable reviews, scoring 8/10 from IGN, 78/100 from Metacritic and 7/10 from VideoGamer.com. The game was favoured for its 'Art of Battle' mechanic in which players entered a duelling mode, and could choice where to target their opponents through the different guard stances. The single player story consists of six missions played out as each of the factions and centres around the pervasive issue of endless conflict, as each faction fights for their own reasons against the main antagonist Apollyon.
