Watch Dogs (2014) is an action adventure game developed by Ubisoft Montreal and published by Ubisoft. It is set in a fictionalised version of Chicago, and the story centres around Aiden Pierce, and grey hat hacker as he tries to find revenge after the death of his niece.

Watch Dogs (2014) is played from a third person perspective and its vast world, which allows players to roam the urban city, open countryside, and run down neighbourhoods can all be navigated by boat, car, bike, rail and on foot. Using the in game hacking mechanic - which is controlled by Aiden's mobile phone, players are given a variety of choices, from solving puzzles, to gaining money siphoning bank accounts, unlocking cars and even causing blackouts to held evade the police.

Watch Dogs (2014) combat system utilises limited stealth and parkour along with the standard mechanics of a cover based third person shooter. It allows players to use non lethal attacks to neutralise guards and provides numerous opportunities to distract patrols and complete missions.

Watch Dogs (2014) also provides an online multiplayer in which players can try out :
Tailing other players
Decryption
Hacking
Races

Watch Dogs (2014) received fairly positive reviews at launch with reviewers citing the hacking elements, mission variety and online modes as positives. A sequel to Watch Dogs (2014) was released in 2016, and this will be covered in another video.
