Gwent the witcher card game is a collectable card game based on the famous Witcher series. In this episode I am showcasing a full walkthrough and detailed hints and tips on how to complete the latest Gwent Holiday Event known as ‘Saovine Holiday of the Dead’. This event consists of three standard and three expert challenges which I shall time-stamp below.

Play the cards in the following order to easily complete the first expert challenge
Archer / Scythman / Archer / Germaine
Archer x2 / Scythman / Archer / Scythman

Expert Walkthrough - Knocking on Horror’s Door
Play the cards in the following order to easily complete the second expert challenge in Saovine Holiday of the Dead
Germaine / Vesimir (attacking the swarms) / Mass Levy (spawn units at the Battering Ram
Archer (place at the Ballista and attack the swarm) / Vesimir (ranged) / Archer (at Ballista attack swarm twice and then the Enraged Katakan)
Archer (attack Swarm, the Queen and the Enraged Katakan) / Tinkerer (at Ballista, attack Enraged Katakan)
Vesimir (melee) / Tinkerer (Ballista attack Enraged Katakan) / Mass Levy (spawn at Battering Ram)
Vesimir / Bovine (return Germaine and spawn at Battering Ram) / Vesimir / Tinkerer

Expert Walkthrough - Bloodthirsty
In order to complete the first round you must have the following cards
Cook x2 / Farmhand / Crossbowman / Agitator / Militia x 2 and a Potion - redraw whichever cards are needed

Play the cards outlined above in the following order to complete the expert challenge
Cook / Farmhand / Cook (or any other card if applicable) / Crossbowman
Agitator / Potion / Militia / Militia

Then pass the second turn

For your third turn it’s helpful to have the following cards
Bovine x 2 / Agitator / Crossbowman x2 / Harvest x2 or 3 / Germaine

Play the cards as outline to complete the challenge
Bovine x2 / Agitator / Crossbowman / Harvest (pick 2nd option) / Harvest (pick 2nd option)
Crossbowman / Harvest (is applicable pick option 1) / Germaine
