Hey, I'm gonna stat recording PS4/XBOX1 games and what's the rules on cut scenes?

with XCOM2 i emailed them and got told gameplay with cutscenes is fine but just the cut scenes is not allowed .

does playing with cutscenes apply to ps4 and xbox1 games?

This depends per game, some games allow and other don't. In most cases if it is not allowed you see a pop-up during the cut scene that recording isn't allowed. So far i have only seen this at title screens on my PS4.

Cutscenes (from what I've been told) is not a proper way of "fair use", meaning that it is most likely copyright infringement. I always take them out on my videos to be safe...but best to check with the developers if you want to add them in your videos.
