Hey guys! There have been a lot of questions regarding Freedom! points lately, so we've decided to create this little post to clear up some confusion.

We will be updating this post whenever something new comes up so be sure to check in often!

What is Freedom! Points?
Freedom! Points is a system in which partners can gain points based on channel growth and community participation, which can then be exchanged for various perks. At the moment, the points can be exchanged for a higher revenue share for a particular month but other things may be offered in the future.]

The current situation (as of June 14, 2014)
Freedom! Points is currently in BETA -- which means that it is in the testing stage and functionality is at a bare minimum at the moment. It's only been open to the public so the developers can get more feedback on the system. Because of this, there are some important things to note:

1. Points can be redeemed, but will not be processed.
   You can spend your points on the revenue bonuses but the bonuses themselves will not be handed out. As much as we would love to give all our lovely partners the increased revenue share, there's a huge risk involved in doing something like that when the system is still not in tip-top shape.
   
   
2. The calculation of points should still work regardless.
   You should still be able to earn points from your channel growth and community participation even if we are still in the testing phase. If there are points that haven't been rightfully given to you, be sure to contact our support team about this at [email protected] or you can directly contact the developer at [email protected].
   
   
3. All points will be wiped after the BETA.
   Yep, that's right. All points earned will be removed from your account once testing is done, so you can actually spend all your points without having to worry about the future. We understand that these points are valuable to our partners, so some sort of compensation will be in the works for those who participated in the BETA. Details on what that will be will be announced whenever the information is available.

No. Saying that is just gonna cause more issues. They have a bunch of bugs to work out with it and make sure you can't cheat the system to get more points than you've earned. Anthony said it's something that should go live with dashboard 2.0

freedom points are not up and running, but will be with the dashboard 2.0 (dashboard.tm) but they want to fix the current one first. the new one should be up by the end of the year hopefully

I have been hearing that from past 8+ months, why the dashboard is taking so long may be just halt that project and fix the current one which every one is using any ways but thats just my thoughts

@Kan This failed pretty quickly don't you think? Just like Freedom slowly stopped talking about it and the monster cat deal. Is this a discontinued feature! I was looking forward to this also used to my points in the beta.

Sadly this was not my project. I am head of forums. I am still fighting daily for an answer, but it's slow. I don't hear much from it. I was able to get an answer about the 101 featured designers. But Freedom! Points are a different beast all together. I will again send this and try today, but everyday I try I hope you know that. I am designated on the forums and Freedom! points are out of my jurisdiction with Freedom! But I will try yet again. I am sorry about the inconvenience.
