some people are gonna buy it just to say they have it first. the price will go down, as it does with most things. if i had that kind of money to just spend, an 8k tv would be cool, but you could also get a tesla for that price

This is very exciting! (for people with actual money to buy that thing)
Heck 4K only just became a thing recently didn't it? A little too early to be thinking about 8K XD

did you actually know that they cant make tv's better with graphics anymore. Not because our technology but because our eyes have a limit and they have actually reached that limit. So I think tit was this tv was the best they can do, going higher wont make a difference because we cant see it. BEsides that im not going to buy it its way too expensive.
There are many other factors to a TV's picture quality and just resolution. Just like you can't compare DSLR's just by looking at the sensor's resolution
Most tv content is also made at a ridiculously low frame-rate, especially movies at 24fps. So laggy... Point is, there is a whole lot of improvement yet to be done 
What do you have form 8K tv if you don't have 8K camera and the content is still at 4K at the best.
