Creating a twitter isn't necessary about interacting with the subs you already have but engaging with a community that might be interested in your content. Much like forums if you add value to the conversation you will make friends and may even share your content with their followers.

It is defiantly worth doing to help your channel grow.

I love twitter. It's a great way to contact all sorts of people, and I think it will be a great way to communicate with your subscribers once you have a bigger audience.

I use my twitter all the time! and it is a great way to met new people and network with others!
