i have a gaming channel but i have been thinking of switching my content to blind bags and opening packs of trading cards or booster boxs and other stuff i collect. some of the stuff i would be doing is pokemon,magic the gathering, lego, amiibos, bling bags for lego mine craft and any others they have out.

As the lady Enmoshin says, you can always do both of them, you could organize in order to do al the things you like without stressing yourself so, I wish you all of the luck and never give up, and remember: The key is on keeping yourself always, not a poser.
Opening up new things does sound pretty cool, you could either try and combine both things or have a go at making a completely separate channel. There can be benefits to doing either of these, so maybe get that figured out first 
As mentioned above i would mix both on your channel. Since in a way it is related to Gaming it can open up new viewers who may also like your other content and vice versa
